    here are a few things to check
    1. id you set up your main connection for sharing
    2. are you using a crossover cable or router
    3. did you set up the Xbox with all the IP settings
    4. did you set up the FlashFXP with the xbox IP settings as well

    more info would really help.

    or get an auto installer and it will do most everything

    like all this:

    XBox-Board Ultimate Boot-CD 4.0
    ================================

    What can you do with this CD?
    ==================

    With this CD you will be able to install your XBox easily, it makes no difference what kind of HDD is inside, 8, 160 or 400 GB.
    All current and stable versions of the latest software are on this CD.
    This CD is an improvement to Exuser 3.2!

    CD-Advantage?
    ==================

    The benefit to all other Boot-CD’s is, that you are able to make your own individual system.

    If you choose the option "complete installation", UDATA and TDATA will be saved for recovery, so your Savegames will not be lost!

    You can choose, whether you want UnleashX, Avalaunch, EvolutionX or XBMC as you dashboard.

    You are able to install and update applications, emulators or dashboards individually.

    XBMC is improved with all possible scripts, around 30 – 40.
    D-Box and Dreambox scripts are also included for video recording from Sat-Boxes

    What is new?

    ==========
    - A backup system saves all savegames before installation and recovers it after installation. Nothing is lost with a complete installation! (UDATA and TDATA)
    - installable XBMC, even as a dashboard (C, E and F)
    - Gentoox included, "only DVD version"
    - Emulators with Roms
    - the best Homebrew Games
    - A new Intro-Video
    - Background music during installation
    - 700 MB for people without a DVD-Burner
    - Analyse XBox (Which version and which Bios)
    - Flash the newest Bios version under EvolutionX
    - Xecuter, smartxx and Xenium OS under D:Bios
    - complete instruction manual in German and English (15 pages)
    - Covers DVD and CD + Nero Coverdesigner file

    Hey there

    Here, I've got another thread with a bit more info on it...

    [urlhttp://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272985[/url]

    Yeah I've got the right cable, wires on each end are in different orders. Think I need to enable my xbox to ftp or something?

    Thanks for the help
