Dear All,
I extremly want to know if there is any alternative to ICQ? You know, I get irritated with all that adverisment that always pops out changing every time stealing precious megs of my traffic. Besides it slows down work of ICQ. How can I get rid of all that annoying ads? Any utility?

P.S. I've heard about R&Q(rat), Miranda etc... Any suggestions what is it?

well, ATERNATIVES would be:
MSN
Yahoo
AIM.
also to stop pop-ups from ICQ download trillian, same IM, same ppl list just different interface

yeah, trillian, and you can still communicate with other icq members, as well as aol, yahoo, and probably all the others. they have a free and a pro version.
