Hi I purchased these movies over this past weekend and when I went to copy them, all three had extremely bizarre encoding that made it impossible to record them. I copied several other comparison DVDs that I own, they copies fine. This is NOT a matter of updating unless it's my firmware which is not that old to begin with. The following occurred with each respective DVD. WOTW: decrypted file error. Stopped the rip cold. Madagascar: Some extremely bizarre code that completely locked up my computer. I use 1ClickDVD W/DVD43 and it said something about the region being bad. (BTW-I tried copying all these DVDs more than once each with identical results each time. I also tried "movie only" record mode with no different results) Stealth: This is the absolute bizarrest of them all. Check this out. I tried to copy the movie and it would complete the process by copying only a portion of the disc. When I tried to copy a second time, whether I completely restarted the computer, left the program running, closed and re-opened the program (1clickDVD), it picked right back up where it left off, half way through the burn process! This movie would not even play on my computer because a message came up saying that it did not recognize the correct decoder? What the heck is going on with these DVDs? I am truly wondering if the days of being able to make a back up copy of my personal collection is going to be possible? Thanks, OneTon
I copied War of the world last night with no problem i used dvd decrypt and shrink and burned with nero
OK, so is it best to remove the current background program (DVD43) or is it OK to run new programs in conjunction with the old ones? Thanks, OT
