I have recently tried to install a demo copy of nero 7 on WinXp, and after a couple of days I uninstalled it.
Now I realized I'm having a problem with all zip folders in windows, I'm not able to drag and drop files from zip folders, as I did before nero 7 was installed (and uninstalled).

I have found someone who has my same problem on http://www.computing.net/windowsxp/wwwboard/forum/143819.html , but I haven't been able to find the solution to this problem. Please help, I need to restore the functionality of zip folders.

I have followed your advice and used Nero General Clean Tool, but that did not help. Afterwards I have even manually searched & deleted the many entries containing the word "nero" that were still present in the registry (and I have found a ton of them!), but that did not help either.
Now I have sent a help request to ahead, and I'm waiting a reply from them too.

it's not ideal ie it doesn't help fix the zipped folders functionality, but i've used Winzip since it first came out, and only recently came across zipped folders as i've just bought a new laptop and hadn't got around to installing winzip..

for now you could just unstall winzip maybe..
