How to split big file into two DVD disc

Does anybody know how to split big movie file into two dvd disc? I captured a movie from my cable TV using TV card. The size of the file is 10GB in mpeg format. Now I'd like to transfer it into DVD disc and I'm wondering if anybody has some tips for me. Thanks.

 

Try Power Video Converter or Advanced X Video Converter, both very effective.

 

Thanks for the help. Is there other way than converting the movie? I'm looking a program that can burn that movie to the dvd and when the first disc is full, it will ask me to insert a second blank dvd and continue burning.

 

Well, the two programs I mentioned split and join videos other than converting them into other formats.

Besides, you also need to convert the mpegs into dvd compliant format for burning to dvd. For that I recommend VSO DivxToDVD (free version).
