MPC - MP2 Output - missing pin?

    Greetings,

I installed K-Lite Full and have directx9.0c on my Win2K machine. I looked at the MPC options and made, what I thought, were appropriate selections for playing DVDs. When I try to open a disc I get the message that the MPEG-2 Video Decorder::Output pin is missing! I thought K-Lite had everything I needed. The online search for the codec only delivered a screen of warnings and said no codec was available!

I did a search here and came up with no answers. I can't believe I'm the first to have this problem. Help a dummy...what am I doing wrong.
    Thanks!

Media Player Classic includes built in MPEG-2 decoding, mpg2/3, DTS and AC3 audio decoding, etc. Basically everything that you need for DVD playback.

If you ask me what you did wrong was install a codec pack.

I first installed MPC by itself and had similar problems.
That's when I went to the highly acclaimed K-Lite pack.
You didn't offer any help, Mr. Senior Member.
I did not ask what did I do wrong, I asked what am I doing wrong.
I am looking for help, and I thought AfterDawn was the place to find answers.
