I have a Xenium ICE chip installed using method PINHEADER on a version 1.6. I am able to launch the Retail BIOS no problem, but when I try to launch an alternative BIOS the xbox trys to boot but instead goes to a black screen and then reboots to the main Xenium OS 2.0 menu without actually loading. There was one time I was able to sucessfully boot the alternative BIOS but that was before I set the clock using the Retail BIOS and the default dashboard. I now have the clock set to the correct time. The only reason I throw this out is becasue i have heard the clock must be set correctly after the mod is initial installed (but I don't know why). Since that one time the hacked BIOS actually booted, I have reformatted the hard drive, restored the EEProm, and restored the chip to factory defaults. I know the BIOS is not corrupt becuase it is the same one I have in my other xbox (x2.493.06). Can anyone help me or have any thoughts?
Just a little clarification, when booting the alternative BIOS the color assigned to it does illuminate on the Xenium check just before the power down and reboot.
