So I put a duox 2 chip in my 1.6 xbox and upgrade it to a 250 HDD and evox wasnt detecting so i updated to the latest x2 bios now when i press the power button it goes on and off twice and then stays on fragging with a black screen. When i press eject to turn it on it boots normaly until i get error code 16. Is thier anyway of fixing this wiping the modchip or refalshing it and wire tricks? idea or support requested thanx.
I'm not sure if you would find too many "professionals" here on how to do all that. You would have better luck at the xbox-scene forums. I know when mine was fragging, thats where I went and I found a solution (its been too long for me to remember). But I would make sure everything is SOLDERED correctly (if its a solder chip). Thats peoples big problems...is messy soldering.
Yeah man my soldering is good trust me befcause i got it to boot befor i updated my bios the problem is a bad flash.
