Help Please With SoftModding

I try'd to do it, but i thought it broke so i untistalled it. Now I want it back, I tried clicking make MS backup, but it goes for a second then I click Mod backup and it doesnt work. Whats wrong? I used Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.v2.0

 

i tried to use that program too and had the same experience then i met someone online who sent me different linux files for sc on aim and then walked me through everything i would need to do i can help u out if u would like

Ok I installed it then Made the backups of MS Dasboard and MOD Dashboard. I installed Evolution X. I installed all of the stuff to the C DRIVE. I scrolled down and it said Microsoft Dashboard, but I couldn't click it. So then I hesitated. I looked for the harddrive but couldnt find it either. So I turned off the XBOX and turned it on by pressing the EJECT button. Then It went to the Linux install screen and I pressed Restore MS Dashboard and now thats where I am. Then I go back and got back to the Linux screen and click Make
backups of MS Dasboard and MOD Dashboard, but they don't work. Now what? Like I put all the install things on the C drive on my xbox. IS it still there? I didnt delete anything just pressed restore my xbox
