i am not to good with computers but i will give this a shot any help would be great i burn my dvd's with platnium 321 and i use sonic record now to burn them. it usually takes 15 minutes to copy a disc but recently it starts off at 15 minutes then jumps to 22 to 25 minutes a burn. I am not sure why this has occured maybe some one that has had this problem has an answer or is it a firmware issue? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks
I had the same problem. I also use dvd decrypter and dvd shrink with sonic recordnow to burn my dvd's. I use to be able to burn a disk in 15-20 minuets then all of a sudden it jumpted to 45-60 minuets. I reformated my hard drive and reinstalled everything. My dvd burning times went right back down to 15 minuets. I am not sure what caused the slow down but I am sure it was some peice of software I picked up along the way. I am going about my reinstallation process very slowly to monitor dvd performance so I can hopefully figure out which program is causing the slowdown, if it is in fact a program.
