I've seen member status such as Newbie, Senior Member, Moderator, Addict, etc. Can anyone explain the criteria for each category or point me to a thread explaining how this works? Thanks.
This is in the wrong section but, I will help you out anyway. Hello Pop Smith, That's not what I asked, rather, what is the difference between the different membership categories and such as Newbie; Senior Member; Addict and so on and how does one either progress through these rankings or have assigned one of these titles? Please keep in mind that even though "promotion" up to addict is based on the number of posts it is about quality not quantity. Posting useless babble will get you on bad terms with the usual folks and mods/ admins do have the option of banning you. As you stick around you will see the wealth of free "tech" support provided and eventually learn to help others who are just learning. The link Pop_Smith provided was the forum for all other topics which is where he suggested your question should have been asked. Hope that clears it up for you.
