Its been discussed on many threads. Delete the blank channels and do a manual scan on 347 I presume you are on N** Dublin.

Hi sorry to annoy you all again I know i was told how to do a rescan but i cant find where i was told or how to do it. I have deleted all the problem channels i just need help any one that could talk me through how to rescan for them i would really appreciate it.

Menu, installation, user installation. Press OK on 347.500 and press blue button to manual scan. BTW if you are missing Film 4 and others you have to add 418.250 to your TP list.

If you are in Dublin on N** there is a CDF in Eamos which is updated, better off using that if you are missing a lot of channels.

Wont take software wil i need to jtag it?

Need to expand that a bit more, i.e. what box and what firmware. Also what cables, etc. The more info you give the better.

Got a mail from a supplier advising that there is a new and improved Eurovox coming out in a few weeks that you can pre-order.
Anyone aware of the " improvements " or new features etc this will have ????

Hi,

I am having trouble scanning, I lost a few channels so I started a power scan and now I don't have anything!

I think I am scanning on the wrong symbol rate, does anyone know the symbol rate I should be using for N** in Galway, Ireland?

I am using Eurovox Max V, with the UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_18_04_08 firmware installed. I tried installing the channel file which I had saved but that doesn't seem to do anything, the box just defaults to the powerscan screen.

Then do a normal powerscan from 290.000 to 420.000
using symbol rate 6887 N*L IRELAND

I have just moved from N*l Dublin to Carlow ch***s area. My Eurovox box worked a dream in Dublin. I tried doing a powerscan on 6875 and I got info on channels. But it has that updating screen on all the time. It's driving me nuts.

Try re downloading the software a try,this has worked for me in the past.

You need to manually input frequencies for Carlow using 6875:

Yes you need to delete them. Better off doing a factory reset. Menu, config, clear data. And then input each TP one by one.

To add these frequencies you need to:

1. Press menu,installation,user installation. Use 1004 if asked for PIN.
2. Press green button for TP edit. Info button to rename if you want.
3. Press red button to add TP.
4. Enter frequency and symbol rate 6875.
5. Press OK, then repeat these steps until all frequencies have been added, one by one.

When they're all in press exit and go back to first page of install menu. Press the red button for auto scan/update channels. This will do a scan on all the frequencies entered.
