As many of you know, the Ipod is a scratch magnet with or without a case. I recently experimented removing scratches from my 15,30 and 60gb Ipods with a can of Brasso, 2 micro fiber cloths, and a can of Novus plastic polish & cleaner(optional) and almost all of my scratches went bye bye, Brasso even managed to remove most of the scratches on the back of my Ipods. Basically, you just put a little Brasso on a cloth or cotton ball and using the weight of your hands, work the Brasso in using an up and down motion for about 10-15 minutes, let the Brasso haze for another 10 minutes, and then you remove it with another clean cloth. Don't be afraid to use it on your Ipod's screen, this is where the Brasso was most effective for me in removing those annoying light scratches that we all wonder about?? We just don't realize how they got there?? It's not like we all took a sheet of 400 grit sandpaper and sanded down our Ipods, right!! I did notice that Brasso just polished really deep scratches rather then remove them, there was a slight improvement but not much with deep deep scratches. I've tried other cleaners like Novus and they managed to scratch more then they cleaned. You can look on the web for other cleaning ideas but this was one I liked to share with you guys and gals.

Note: There has been many complaints of turning white iPods yellow so beware if you have a white iPod.

Interesting,Maybe they are using too much Brasso or cleaning way too often?? I didn't have this problem on my white or Black Ipods...
