Ok I have a few questions. First is there a certain format the files have to be save in prier to downloading? Second I downloaded some moves from lime and tryed to burn them, the first time it took 14 hours and its still had over half the time to go? and my write speed is set for 16x whats wrong? Also im new to the whole dvd burning world and would like to know where you get your movies from? all help well appreciated..
It sounds like your DVD burrner could have fallen in PIO mode. Go to the site below compliments of bbmayo and he has diffrent guides on helping to troubleshoot things. One of them is why is my DVD drive running slow. Go to the guide there and it will show you how to check to see if your drive is in DMA mode and didnt fall into PIO mode. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm The question about downloading movies/games etc. Use torrent sites to do it. Do a google search on torrents and you will find lots of information on it.
Most of my downloads are in AVI format which I just burn using NeroVisionExpress3 which is available here.http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/nerovision_express.cfm make sure you have nothing else running such as spyware which really slows things down and as larrylje said check PIO
it was already on dma mode but I still reinstalled and still burning extremely slowwwwwww like 2 and ahalf hours and still over half still to burn helppppp...
yeah still not working..just started to burn pasion of the christ and its saying 3h 42 min remaining.. WTF? all help appreciated
Are you running any other programs while you are trying to burn, if so shut them down especially any spyware.
Maybe if you post your Nero log of your last burn someone may be able to take a look at it. It can be found in Program Files> ahead>nero

2 things I noticed, your Nero is several versions behind, update at http://www.nero.com and your DVD is copy protected so you will need to download copy of Slysoft AnyDVD which is a trial for 21 days, this will remove the encryption. You may also like to download DVD FabDecrypter which also removes any encryptions.
Just passing and noticed this. Your firmware version is two behind. Get the update here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces Try to free up some memory as well. The firmware update should resolve this!
I did disk clean defrag my computer and still taking hours this is getting frustrating.. anything else?
Well I just did some other things I found on the internet updated firm ware all that jazz and still 4 hour burn what the hell is making it go so slow? what could it be?
You have updated your Nero? of course you would have by now. What are your computer specs. The log you posted doesnt appear to be the LATEST one, it shows DVD you are trying to copy is Copy protected. Please post your latest log and computer specs.
Ok I updated my nero, updated my firmware, changed my drives from both being css to master and css, defraged my computer, freed up memory, and so on. My history folder is not updating itself still reading the same as up in the thread. I done alot and still started pasion of the christ again just to test and still said 4 hours left WTF?
