Hi I'm an old newbie having probs trying to back up kung fu hustle using anydvd and clone2. I get to 14% then get file1 E:/Video_TS/VTS_02_1>Vob23TC sector reader. Have changed disk for a new one and stops in same place. please help

Thank you for your reply, will make sure I have the latest versions and have tried 3 disks altogether and they all stop at the same place, just as the film starts, cant all be bad disks.
What speed are you burning them at? Change to 4x and not maximum. Using CloneDVD2 your target size should be okay at DVD5 according to olie who wrote the program. I would still make sure that the burn speed is not faster than 4x. As to bad media, yes you could have a whole spindle of bad media. What kind is it? I hope it's not memorex or phillips, or prodisc. You want to use Taiyo Yuden (Absolute best) Verbatims, maxells that are MIJ.
I will make sure that I burn at 4x in the future and I only use Ritek disks. When I said I had changed kung fu hustle 3 times I meant I had changed the originals 3 times.
Thank you everyone for your help, at long last after following all your advice I have managed to back up this DVD. I know I'm not the brightest spark in the fire and need a lot of help at times but once again thanks a bundle.
