Hi there... I live in Australia and currently burn dvd movies via dvd shrink, B's gold and Nero (which was alrady on my new computer when I got it). My 8 yr old son is having his playstation 2 chipped for Xmas and like almost everyone else I want to burn some games for him... I have had a go burning 4 and they seem to burn thru B's gold and Nero but obviously I can not check them until January when his ps2 comes back! If they wernt burning properly wouldnt the program say it wasnt successful? Hope you all have a great weekend! Cheer's G
First off this is the DVD forum. I know your a newbie but there is a PS2 forum for these type of queations. So next time look at all the topics in the forum and choose the best that suits your question. Dont post it in there now because that is agaisnt the rules (multi-posting) As for your answer to your question. Just because you dont get an error when you burn your game dosent mean it will work. I have had some PS2 games that burn with no errors and not work after placing it in the PS2. Also somthing to think about. It might take a few tries to get media that works well with your PS2. It took me 3 diffrent brands before I finaly got them to actully read on my PS2. Dont burn any faster then 4x or you could run into read errors on the disc. So what you really need to do is wait till you get the PS2 back and check to see if they work. If not feel free to come back and ask for further asistence and we will be happy to help.
