Subtitles

    I've been using shrink for almost 7 months now with no problems. Problem I'm running into now is that subtitles will appear when I start a DVD and have turn use remote to turn off. But, when a scene with subtitles happen, it will not appear unless I turn them back on with remote.

    Any ideas on how to get this to stop?

    Go into the on-screen setup menu for your DVD player and find the subtitles controls (usually in the "Languages" area). Select "OFF" for subtitles. That way the subtitles will not play by default but will turn on when intended by the DVD authoring as in movies like "The Last Samurai" or "Black Rain".

    Well, look at it this way--if you don't have anyone that's deaf in your family; than you should just uncheck all subtitle channels in the DVD Shrink in the first place--then you're not dealing w/ them at all and don't have to worry about it.
