    Simple question;

    Will a DVD+/-R I create here in the US in NTSC DVD format work in a typical UK or Australia stand-alone DVD player? ...or do I have to re-encode the DVD I created in PAL format?

    Thank you

    Some of us Aussies are cultured and have stand alone playerd that will play both formats but in general you will find we are a PAL region so it would be wise to change them to PAL. If your coming DOWNUNDER enjoy your stay.

    Wow. That was quick. My DVD authering software [dvd-lab] does have an option when I open my project of choosing a TARGET SYSTEM of NTSC or PAL. I suppose I could check PAL and just record the project like usual.

    I will be visiting for the first time, hopefully next summer. Thank you Gwendolin.
