I've been using nero to back up my xbox games for a while now and it has been successfull about 95% of the time. But last week I tried backing up another game and i got a disc speed error. I thogut it my just have been the dvds so i tried another one and got the same error. I've tried dowloading alcohol 120% but that program also gives me an error when i try to burn something. - Nero's too old, latest 6.x version is 6.6.0.18, download "update package 1" from here - http://ww2.nero.com/enu/nero-up.php - is this an Iomega burner by any chance ?. i'm having trouble finding the Iomega firmware page anyway at the moment - yup, Nero's too old to recognise your burner, update Nero - 512MB is what i consider the minimum for dvd work. you should get more memory, and for now you're gonna have to dig deep to close down as much as you can to free up more memory
