AVI Files to DVD

    I am sure if i read on this board i could find what i am looking for but there is alot of terminology that i am unfarmiliar of when looking at this site. I have "avi" files on my computer and i want to either put them on a cd-r or a blank dvd.who do i do that? where can i get more avi movies?

    Possibly the easiest way of doing this is to download 2 programs, both free. DivxToDVD available at this link http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/v... create a Destination folder on your HD. I name mine C:/Video_TS , this is where your files will be placed after converting. Also download CopyToDVD and burn with this prog. In DivxToDVD where it says standard check either PAL or NTSC and in tick the box burn with CopyToDVD, then hit convert. Easy as. Cant help you with other question.

    I like both Nero Vision 4 and DivxToDVD equally. I've used them both in the past and every once in a while if I have a project to do (ie any AVI or DivX files).
