scrached dvd's

    hi all i have alot of srached dvd's i want to back them back before they become useless but how much i try to burn it just would not burn. plaese help my out on how to clean and what software to use. (i use DVD Decrypter - DVD Shrink - Nero 6)

    download a program called IsoBuster, use the free version and you should be able to extract all of your files without trouble (depending on the scratch severity)

    You could alway take your dvd to a video store and have them put it through their scratch machine.

    thankz for the help guys.

    do you guys know any methods of cleaning dvd disks
    because i have heard using toothpaste cleans dvds does that really work, i want to confirm before stuffing up my dvd's

    Yes, toothpaste works. Windex. Dawn. I have even uses a dremel with jewelers rouge on severe scratches. Extreme case though.
