For all the people that have ipods, i have some questions to ask-Does the ipod video (black)come with a ac adapter to charge your ipod? i have heard that you just plug your ipod into the computer to charge it. if you could give me the correct info that would be great.
my second question is- Does reseting your ipod video erase all of your downloaded music, photos, and videos? if it does thats not a very good thing.
I do not have an ipod yet and i would like to know a little info about them before i buy one

The iPod does come with an adaptor and you basically just plug one side into your iPod and the other USB side into your computer. This is how it charges and the connection on which music and files are transferred.
And for your second question, the reset method by holding down a button is a soft reset and is like a computer reboot, it just restarts it.

Thanks for the info, DewTheDo. I dont want to restart the ipod and have everything erased. It would be a pain in the butt to reload all my songs.

Yes. It also comes with a plug socket adapter with a usb socket in so you can charge at any electrical plug in the wall if you don't have any usb's around you (ie. when you are travelling ;)

I didn't get a Plug Socket with mine and I don't see it listed as an included object in the Apple Store either, you sure?

But I got mine off ebay, andthough new, it wasn't sealed ~ so I may be worng..
