Hi There- Can anybody help me!!! My computer locks up when there is just about 1-2 minuites left in the transcoding process while creating a DVD movie sldieshow. Once I start the transcoding process, my "Page File Usage History" slowly goes up from 218 MB to 1.75 GB. once it hits 1.75 Gb it stops transcoding and wont go any further. Any help woud be GREAT, I am running out of options. Thanks for your time on this. Sincerely- Doug Ward
Yes, it is likely that a small files of 218MB can turn into 1.75GB when converting or transcoding. I've use Nero Vision 4 to convert my AVI files into DVD in the past before (a 700MB will turn into 3.7GB or somthing in result). What are your computer specs? How many GB of free space available on your hard drive? What version is your Nero 6 and have you updated to the latest 6.6.0.18? If not, then do so (install package #1 & package #2 only). Are you trying to convert and transcode from AVI or MPEG into DVD files? What application/program did you used Nero to do the transcode process?
