Hi, My laptop has a Matshita UJDA710 dvd/cdrw combo drive 24x/8x (firmware version 1.50). I reads dvd-r disks, but not dvd+r. Is there anyway I can upgrade the firmware to have it read dvd+r disks too? Thankx in advance, gus.
Your drives specifications will tell you if your drive can read +R disc. Some drive manufacturers will release firmware updates that change the specifications of the drive, but it is a bit rare.
