What does "dual layered " mean?

    This should be an easy one.... what does "dual layered" mean?

    Hi Rob1826, yep this is an easy one. All it means is that you can fit around 8.7 g onto disc, the normal disc holds around 4.7g. If you are burning really kong movies you can use DVD9(as they are known) but if your movie is over 4.7 and you dont mind a little quality difference you can use DVD5 with a prog DVDShrink.

    Hey Gwendolin Thanks!! I use DVDShrink but have never run into any "long" movies, but if I do, I now know what to do. Thanks

    Hi Rob, if you are already familiar with DVDShrink then you shouldnt have too many problems. To date I havent struck any EPICS that require a D/L...also to use a D/L you have to have a D/L burner.
