Hello I've had this unit for almost a year, some movies just can't be read after a while after recording them, recently I have recorded some tv shows, even title them but I don't close the DVD in order to add more episodes, the next day the unit doesn't even reads the early session, NO DISC message is displayed. I'm using Maxell DVDR+ Thanks in advance for your feedback! Fer from Mexico
It's Sanyo DRW-500, I tried about a dozen of times the open - loading process and finally opened the DVD with the first session and recorded until closing the DVD; I really take care of keeping it clean and I don't know if it requires an internal cleaning but it's causing a lot of hassle working with it. It's matter of lots of patience.
