I think I might have a corrupt codec as now my windows media player will not play an avi movie and it always did before. I hear some say not to have too many codecs installed. I am wondering if I should delete all the codecs I have now and re-install them. I can play avi movies with my Divx player on my computer but not windows media player 10. Can I just do a search by typing in codec, all files in c: and then delete them or is this wrong or not removing properly. Thanks for any help...ed
No, it does it with every avi file I try. Even my windows media player will not play an avi now. Anyone know which codec is needed to play an avi in media player. It did work so something or a codec is corrupt.ed
hi uninstall all codecs and install K-LITE **MEGA** codec pack from http://www.free-codecs.com on install tick the lot!
