HI i just got a new vx9800 and i have a 512mb mini sd carc. how do you get mp3s on the phone. I have a usb cable to. I herd that you have to format the memory card buthow do you do that. Any help would be appreciated
I've answered this a number of times, I think one of the main ones is on page 3. But to format it, put it in your Powered OFF phone, turn it on / press OK for menus ( here you should see the Contact options ) scroll right 2 times to Tools and Settings / go up to System / Manage Memory / Choose Card Memory / Press Right soft key for Options / Select 1 for Format Card / enter last 4# of your phone # unless you changed your Security code / then OK it. When done, exit out and reboot the phone and your set. Have fun. ps I saw at Comp USA, they have 2 and 4 GB mini sd cards. That's if you want to store every epesode of Star Wars, Friends, Dr. Phil etc....
