Have tried numerous times to use Nero to "Recode DVD's and Video's to Nero Digital" Goes through entire process, preview screen shows up, burns to disc but fails to play in my stand alone player. If I use Nero Vision no problem. Am I missing something with Recode? Everything looks clean and good, except the "Memory" needs to free up more and the "Last address to be written" only. Last address doesn't sounds right, it should be something like 4300MB, 4400MB or something similar. What are you trying to encode and burn? Are you encoding from a downloaded files? If so, then you need to have Nero Vision 4 convert them AVI files into DVD files first.
Thanks for help. I think I see the problem. Wasn't converting the AVI files to DVD format first. Will try that and get back to you. Checked Nero Vision 4. Where is the option in it to do the conversion. Couldn't find it or else I"m blind?
