for converting files to DVD and/or copying DVD's to DVDr's? I need a program that can do both and that is reliable. I don't mind the cost as long as it's not too expensive. Tia!

Best programs you can invest in is AnyDVD a driver that runs in the background and breaks encryption and CloneDVD which will rip/encode and burn your DVD. They are 60.00 for the combo and updated for all the new protection. Available at http://www.slysoft.com

If you want free then use DVD Fab Decrypter available at http://www.filepedia.com look under rippers it will rip to your HDD and then you can use the free program DVD Shrink to encode but you will need a burning program such as the free ImgBurn all are available at the filepedia site. Here is guides for all

    I second that Arniebear!!!
I have been using AnyDVD and just downloaded CloneDVD2 and it has worked great.
Plus the nice folks from Slysoft will email you when there is an update for your program. Also if it is running in the background and you are on the internet the program itself will tell you of an update.
It is well worth the money.
