My Pc Will Burn Most(Not All Dvd's) Under 3gb Anything bigger it will seize up and not burn

Exampole:Tried to put some video files to a data dvd using nero7 and ritek dvd total size to be writen was 4gb but it keeps freezing on 91% and then crashes all the time(Stops Writing) And As For Dvd Decrypter I cCant Use That To Write At All Becasue It Says

Error Logical Block Out Of Address And I Am Using A External Dvd writer (Emprex 8x)

Any Ideas On How To Fix These Burning Issues PLz

By knowing the operating system, i.e. windows 98 etc. It will tell us if it is in fact a fat32/ntfs file system.

    Cheers.

That's good. Size should not be the issue then. Next, what version firmware for your external. Check here to see if your burner is current:

    http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces

You can see the version if you open DVDDecrypter in Mode ISO write it will show the burner and firmware version in the upper right side.

Firmware is the software that runs the DVDburner. I was asking you what DVDburner model you had and the version of firmware that it is using.

If you open DVDdecrypter and go to mode ISO write it will show you your burner specs in the right upper pane of the DVDdecrypter window.

It will say something like this: LG GSA 4163B A105

    Cheers.

you can use decrypter to check to see if your firmware is up to date

    TOOLS>RIVE>CHECK FOR FIRMWARE UPDATES

this will link up a site with your burner listed..

    but only use official firmware

what free space have you got left on the hardrive?
