I am new to these fourms. I have been a viewer for some time now and have found them to be very helpful, but i have had a recent question that i have not been able to find an answer to. I don't thinksthis is the right fourm to post in, but i couldnt find any other that it might be approiate to post in, so here goes... In Alcohol 120%, it has the option to separate data into sectors (?) of data. Such as a 8gb iso into two 4gb iso's. The purpose i was intending to do was burn the iso's onto two different DVD's and make the normally one DVD-DL into two DVD-r's. Every time i try to burn the separated images to DVD, it trys to burn the whole thing and errors out saying that the DVD-r doesnt have the capacity, which is correct, it only has 4gb of space, not 8gb. Am i interpreting the separation wrong? Am i just not doing it right? Please help, Thanks
Dear ungod6115, A simple way to do it would be to create a virtual drive with e.g. Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%, mount the iso onto the virtual drive, and use e.g. DVD Fab Platinum or Apollo DVD Copy to burn to 2 dvds from there. Good luck!
