Hi there! Please HELP HELP HELP iam trying to burn dvds from files ive downloaded! however my nero doesnt appear to support AVI file or MPEG for that matter! when i try to drop the movie into the box to begin burning it says ' incorret file format ' in the FILE TYPE drop down box it says 'VOB,GAF, and something else' but it appears when i click the ALL FILES tab on the drop down box,ive had nero before i got this new pc and it had 'ALL SUPPORTED FILES' on it but this only has the ones ive mentioned! anyone any ideas!! ive done all file types with my old nero but cant with this! iam i missnig something!! Would appreciate any help!!
Nero is not that good when it comes to encoding, so you may first try convert the avi or mpeg into dvd compliant format with e.g. VSO DivxToDVD (free version), then burn with Nero: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm In case you're missing some codecs, try download and install K-Lite Codec Pack from this site.
