im trying to get a dvd ripper on my computer so i can put movies on my ipod video, can anyone suggest a good ripping program, and if its difficult to run the program and get the video out of it can you give me a quick run through on what to do? thank you

As for programs I have DVD Shrink, DVD Dercyrpter, also I have two products from SlySoft, AnyDVD, and CloneDVD. They work great, but cost money. But they just put out a special just in time for Chirstmas. Go to http://www.slysoft.com check them out they are free to try for 21 days and then after that you will have to pay for them.
AD has everything you need. Just check the tabs at the top of the page. One of them is software, and DVD rippers is one heading: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/ Guides are listed also: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/ It is best for you to read these guides first, and then post if you have problems. No need to walk you thru it, when a guide will do the same thing, and it has been written already. Your going to have to do some reading, but i bet most of your questions have already been answered in these quides.
