Hi all, new to this forum.

I have used Nero 7 for some months and have found this problem. I get this message up everytime I try to start up Nero.

Nero Burning Rom - nero.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x027dd51b" reference memory at"0x0000000c". The memory coould not be read.

Options: press OK to terminate the program
Press Cancel to debug the program

Doesn't matter which one I select it always closes the application. Any Ideas anyone? My os is XP Pro.

    Thanks

Have you tried unistalling and re-installing Nero?

    Hey guys,
You don't seem to be the only one having this problem Mebs, the exact same thing is also happening to me. I can run Nero Express no problem, but Burning Rom always gets an application error:

Nero Burning ROM:nero.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x027dd51b" referenced memory at "0x0000000c". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Despite the option to "debug", it gets closed either way. Additionally, I have tried uninstalling, and reinstalling several times, and I have tried running utilities like registry mechanic, and just about any other varient of that. The only thing that I can think of, is trying to use a different cd-key, but I don't know how that could possibly make any difference.

    Thanks!
