I need a MPEG/AVI to DVD "FREEWARE"?

    For converting avi or mpeg to dvd compliant format, you may try VSO DivxToDVD (free version), pretty fast and reliable:

    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AVIFixed.htm

    If space is not a problem, you can add multiple videos at one time, just keep adding before hitting 'convert'.

    You can then burn the results with e.g. Nero or any other free programs.
