I recorded "The Island" to the hard drive. I tried to use Nero to copy it to no avail. I'm trying to use disk image or saved project. When I double click on it, it opens up to "my documents" and is asking me to input a file into the "file name" box. Nothing I try works. Is their a guide for nero 6 that will help me copy this movie. Please HELP!!!

How did you record it to the hard drive?
If you are using disk img you will need to point it to the img.
If you are using save project you will have to point it to the project file.

just use Nero Burning Rom for this after the DVDFab Decrypter as hopefully the movie files are in DVD format. pick 'dvd video' compilation in Burning Rom, drag files to left of screen if you're using 6.6.0.14 or newer -

If your Burning Rom is older than that you have to select the VIDEO_TS folder on left of screen PRIOR to dragging files over to the left of screen (ie into the VIDEO_TS folder).

you don't need the AUDIO_TS folder, it's always empty, you just drag over files from the VIDEO_TS folder.

However the movie may be too big to fit on a single layer DVD, in which case you would use a (free) program such as DVD Shrink to shrink the movie down to correct size, then use Nero to burn the movie..

    Creaky,

Thanks for your attempt to help me. I'm a little confused by your response. Maybe you can show me a step by step guide on how to use Nero 6 when attempting to copy a dvd file saved to disk.

Creaky may be kinda busy so here you go.

    Start Nero Burning ROM.
Click on the drop-down list box and select the 'DVD' media type.

Select the 'DVD-Video' compilation, thereby bringing the 'ISO' tab to the foreground.

Click on the 'New' button to finish selection of the compilation. The Nero Burning ROM file browser opens in which you select the files to be burned.
Select all available files of the DVD-Video title on the right-hand side of the file browser and drag them to the left-hand side.

Click on the burn icon to switch to the burn area. You are then ready to burn the DVD.

These pix are from nero 7 but the instructions are the same just the new button will be at top right in nero 6. Notice that Video_ts is a folder not a file. The dvd files are in the right window under name. They are the files to drag to the left under name.

    whompus,
I certainly appreciate your attempt to help. The guide you displayed doesn't exist with the Nero softwar I have. I pulled up everything and nothing even remotely resembles the screen you displayed. You must have a different version of Nero that I do. Thanks anyway.
