maybe ur graphics card is getting over heated, what are ur specs and which video card are you currently running?

Have you figured out the problem yet? I was having problems with freezing during gameplay and after a good hd defrag it seems to be running fine now. Also make sure you have any programs shutdown to allow as much free memory as possible. I've heard that upping your memory to at least 2 gigs will give you the best flowing gaming experience.
