Have an AVI/MPEG I want to record to VHS using Canopus ADVC-100 with firewire. Have converter set to digital in and Composite cords connected to back running in to VCR at Line 1. Have VCR set to Line 1 and VCR, not TV, for record. I tried using Scenelyzer and Premier to export the AVI via firewire and no success.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong and if their exists better software for Firewire export of Digital video?

I don't believe that Permiere will print to tape unless you encode the video to DV format. SonicFoundry Vegas will, but you'll need a fast CPU to keep up if the original video isn't in DV.
