recording TV on wintv card to reburn to DVD...

    Is it possible to record TV on my wintv card in a format that I can put to DVD and the quality be decent?

    Also, how would I convert whatever file it is it would create to a DVD format on a disc?

    first off.. what type of file does it encode tv as?

    depends all upon what program I use to record. I can either use the wintv program or I can use Nero 7, and I believe Nero 7 gives options as to what type of file you want to save it as.
