I soft modded my xbox and then accidently deleted something and now i receive error 13 screens, if i get a new hdd can i just format it and stick it in my xbox and then make it work and just throw out the old hdd, or do i need to get a whole new xbox? also if i did do that could i soft mod the new hdd or should i just get a mod chip?
Well you will need the xbox eeprom key if you want to add another HDD to your xbox.Without it you will need to get a modchip to make sure xbox run again.You might want to try playing the newest game you got and try to connect to xbox-live to see if it updates your dashboard.Just make sure that the game is in before you turn on the xbox.
