Hello. Just a quick question here...If I use an AVI to DVD conversion program such as VSO DivXtoDVD to convert my AVI files, will my video lose quality? I don't think that my files will have to be compressed to fit on a DVD. I just want to know if the AVI to DVD conversion results in a loss of quality in the video. Appreciate any help.

    hi

yes they all loose quality, but some are better than others!

i use the film machine (free) + CCE (not free)

and although in reality there is a quailty loss due to CCE being a beast of an app the resulting DVD looks the same as the avi first put in!

    excellant!

divxtodvd you will see a quality loss!!!
