I'm not sure on whta to do next

    I have downloaded macromedia Flash player 7,0,14,0 and ASPI layer version V4.71.2 So now what do I do.

    Hi there,

    Pop yourself a bag of PopCorn and turn on the TV ? <grin>...

    You are not giving us any details, on what you are trying to do, why did you download those 2 files, what software you are using etc...

    I downloaded these files because I thought they were what I need to copy my dvd collection I thought these files made up the software I need.

    please If Im going about this all wrong tell me what I need or to read
    and ANYTHING else I need to copy my collection onto dvd+R

    That link to VSO software which one do you recommend or how can I tell which one is the BEST I have win xp dvd+rw/ cd-rw

    In my signature block are guides for doing what you want. Read the one about DVDdecrypter and DVDShrink. Very informative and step by step.

    You can download these programs free at this web site:

    Once you have these you can start.

    Hi again,

    Ok, now we are getting somewhere :)

    So you have some DVD's at home, and you would like to copy them, right?

    1- You will need a software to remove all the protection on them.

    SlySoft AnyDVD is probably one of the best to do this, but it's not free.

    If you want free ones, get DVD Decrypter, DVDFab Decrypter.

    2- You will need to copy the files from the DVD to your hard disk.
    This is called RIPPING the DVD.

    The above software removes the protection and RIPS too.

    3- DVD-R are called Single Layer Media. They can only hold 4.38Gb of data. 98% of the commercial movies are on Dual Layer Media (which can gold 8.5Gb of data).

    So, when you will RIP that movie on your HD, you will end up with 8 Gb of data.

    You will need to "SHRINK" that down to fit a Single Layer DVD.

    DVDShrink is FREE and works very well.

    4- You will need a software to burn those.

    DVDShrink can produce an .ISO file, then you can use DVD Decrypter (Free) to burn that image to your DVD-R with your DVD Burner.

    This is just a list of software you need, you will need to learn them one by one and ask specific question.

    Hi,

    If all you want to do is copy your DVD collection to DVD-R, you really don't need any of the VSO Software.

    Those software are used to do other jobs.

    Unless you want to purchase VSO CopyToDVD, which can burn pretty much everything, but you will not need it for what you want to do !

    Visit their website, read all the info on there, everything is explained on what they do !
