I am using Nero 6 and I use DVD Shrink with it. I recently had to reinstall everything (burner and software). Prior to this it worked fine but now it won't complete a burn, I get an error. I tried another program, 1 Click DVD, and it worked fine. In reading some of the other threads I came across "DMA on/off?". So I opened up "Nero Info Tool" and under my CD Burner it says "DMA ON" but under my DVD Burner it says "DMA OFF". How do I get the DMA under my DVD burner back on and is this most likely the problem? Also in the Nero Info Tool under ASPI there is a drop down menu that says "system ASPI not installed" so I change it to Nero ASPI and it says it is installed. But when I save it and close it out, when I come back it is back to system ASPI. Does this matter? I know from reading on the site that I need this to backup DVDs correct? Thanks for any help. To get your dma back on refer to this http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 For aspi you do need it in most cases and it is here http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/aspi.cfm Get those 2 sorted and you may be set. If not then post back.
