Hi... I'm trying to back up a disk which is Disk 2 of a 5 disk set. All the others have been no problem but my PC does not even recognize this disk when inserted. I've tried it in 2 different DVD drives with same results. It plays just fine in both of my set-top DVD players. I've cleaned it a couple of times to no avail. The PC just continues to tell me that there is no disk in the drive(s). Am I SOL? Thanks!

That particular press may be a different media than your drive is set to recognize. Have you checked for a firmware update lately? You can go here and look: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_search.php

Just do a search for your drive and if it needs an update download it and install it.

    Cheers.

thanks 9mm.... I kinda understand your answer, but why would one disk of a 5 disk set be any different from the others?
