I'm converting .avi format movies and converting them to DVD format with the VSO Divx to dvd program. After converting them, they sounds are off sinc with the movie. Now the original files are fine, they play perfectly. I also tried to do this with DVDSanta and I get the same results. So I thought it might be my computer. I tried to convert them in another computer and the same thing happens, the sound and the voices are just a little bit off. It's video then audio. This has occured just recently. I never had this problem before. Now if the original is fine and it's not something in my computer. I'm also using fresh programs re-downloaded, done in to different computers and getting the same results. What could be the cause of this? Can anyone assist me? Thanks.
Do you create chapters? I have noticed on some AVI files that iv created of this problem coming up when I create chapters. If I leave it without creating chapters then the DVD comes out fine.
No i haven't created anything. I just put the files in the program and started converting. No fancy stuff at all.
Hi there, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/269989 New version of DivxToDVD coming out soon will/should fix all those issues.
I used the new version of VSO Divx to DVD 1.99 yesterday and it did the same thing. I'm now going to try AVI to DVD and see what happens.
Hi again, When the new version comes out, very soon, I am told they have coded a Demuxer built in. Not sure what a demuxer does, but basicly I am told, if the sound is already AC3, it will not recode it, it will keep the original sound track, fixing all the Out Of Sync issues. I had files that every software possible, gave me out of sync issues, and it has passed on the Alpha Testing of the new engine at VSO so this new version will rock my horses
