Hi there! I've been backing up my DVD's for some time now using DVD43,DVDShrink and Nero Burning Rom and Express, and have had very few issues. recently however, DVD Shrink is insisting that it will take 90+ Minutes to analyse a DVD to my Hard Drive. It used to take typically about 15-30 minutes, but suddenly it jumped to 1 hour 30 or 1hour and 45 minutes. Can anyone tell me why this may have started?

    Thanks Much !

Most common reason for this is that burner is operating in Pio mode instead of DMA. Check status under Device Manager and reset to DMA if available. Reboot and recheck status. If still in Pio, check DMA if available, then remove (delete) the IDE channel that the drive is on. Reboot and windows will rediscover the previously deleted IDE channel as "new hardware found" WaLa! DMA will be back on and Shrink will be as quick as before.
