ive read many threads and people state that to unban a xbox from live you must change the eeprom. is this true? anyone mind telling me how? one guy said its expensive to do this. if someone shows me the proper way ill pay you for it. im in the u.s. army stationed in korea and i bought my hard modded xbox here. i took it back and the korean dude has no idea on how to fix it, just how to mod it. thankz peepz!

you still can't get unbanned even if you change your eeprom. if it was possible then no one would be asking for two months and modders would be everywhere in matchmaking. if you change or rewrite the banhammer upload on your eeprom, you will have to download the upload again before you can sign on xbl. if the xbox is hardmodded then you won't even be able to sign on, so you'll have to change your eeprom and the hard drive to get on xbl.

You need a new EEPROM and a new HD (or one that hasn't been used in any xbox before) to get an xbox unbanned. It won't do anything to account bans, but will solve xbox bans.

www.xbox-scene.com will help you out in changing it.
