DVD+R nightmare....

    Hey guys....ive only just tried to Burn a dvd from scratch.....what i want to do is to back up my files that i have on the computer so i can transfer them to a new one.....problem is that there are 15 GB or files.....i try to burn 4 GB of these to a DVD+R in my DVD+ drive....but it says there is not enough space on the disk.....the disk is 4.7 GB..;..im highly confused.....Any help is appreciated guys.,,, thanks

    What programs are you using to copy the files?

    Hi thanks, im using Nero 6 Ultra Edition...and another called DeepBurner that someone reccomended to me....Is this bad :D

    Nero is good, I am not familiar with Deepburn.

    Set the target size in Nero to 4300. What kind of files are these? VOB's BUP's, IFO's?

    Are they movies or data?

    Im trying to burn all my ripped .mp3's and pictures and things like that...am i meant to make them into another sort of file before hand or something?is it impossible to just back up the files as they are?thanks

    also, let's have LAST section of your Nero log which lives in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar.

    You can differentiate sections via this section divider "====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======"
