    Hi,

I have been trying to burn a movie from DVD to my hard drive using Nero Recode. After importing DVD-Video files I click on "Burn" button and choose option to burn movie on my hard drive. While going through the "Analysing" phase, the log gives me following error messages -
    -----------------------------------
    "File burn_dvdfiles.cpp, line 381
Failed to read from the file

    File burn_dvdfiles.cpp, line 382
    Compiling DVD volume failed

    File burn_dvdfiles.cpp, line 301
    Compile DVD: exit

    File burner.cpp, line 993
Failed to read from the file"
    -----------------------------------

Also there was NO SOUND when I playback the video file in preview area, the video appears fine there.

NOTE : I did check "Advanced Analysis" and "High Quality" options before clicking on "Burn" button.

PLEASE HELP ME GETTING RID OF THIS ERROR AND BURN MY MOVIE ON HARD DRIVE OR DVD.

    Thanks !!!

I get the same error. Mine says this though.

    Compile DVD: begin copy 1

    13:17:21 File burn_dvdfiles.cpp, Line 479

Compile DVD: adjust target size to 4458.84MB (4458.84MB obtained)

    13:17:21 File burn_dvdfiles.cpp, Line 524
    Compiling DVD Volume started

    13:17:36 File burn_dvdfiles.cpp, Line 381

    13:17:36 File burn_dvdfiles.cpp, Line 382
    Compiling DVD volume failed

    13:17:36 File burn_dvdfiles.cpp, Line 301
    Compile DVD: exit

    13:17:36 File burner.cpp, Line 993
Failed to open the file °¡š‰.

This happened before I reformatting my system as well. I thought it was simply a version conflict but now I see it's something totally different. This sucks a lot.

Yeah, that's the same thing that I get. This is stupid. I've never truly had a problem with software before that's needed patching until lately.

Is there a fix for that? Software we're running that's incompatible or something? AnyDVD conflicts with it or what?
